Dan Dorsheimer

Founder and Principal

Dan is a transformational and motivational leader who is recognized as a regional expert on employee benefit issues.  His deep industry insights have been developed throughout his 40-year career in the benefits consulting and associated insurance product brokerage business. Dan co-founded American Insurance Administrators, Inc. (AIA) in 1987 and is the founding principal of AIA Benefits Resource Group, the region’s leading employee benefit advisory firm and one of AIA’s three divisions.

Dan is responsible for the ongoing strategic direction of AIA/BRG and serves as an Executive Consultant for several clients. He participates on several major health insurance plan advisory committees and is an advisor to industry trade publications and associations.

Dan received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The Ohio State University. He holds a Pennsylvania Insurance Producer License for Life, Accident and Health, Fixed Annuities, Property, Casualty and Allied Lines. Dan also holds licenses in varying lines of business in 22 additional states.

Kevin Krause

COO and Principal

Kevin is a strategic thinker whose extensive health care experience delivers value to clients every day. His unique health care career blends the knowledge of health care delivery systems and provider groups with in-depth knowledge of innovative strategies that create high-quality, affordable health benefits. He has been instrumental in developing AIA Benefits Resource Group’s unique strategic planning approach to employee health and benefit solutions.

As Principal and Chief Operating Officer (COO) Kevin is responsible for the overall management of AIA/BRG and functions as an Executive Consultant on several client accounts. He also leads several operating units within the company including DiscoverHealth® (Population Health Management) and Technology & Benefits Administration.

Prior to joining AIA in 2001, Kevin spent 20+ years in executive-level positions at national health care delivery organizations in both the private and public sectors. Kevin received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The American University (Washington, DC) and a Master of Health Services Administration from the Medical College of Virginia/Virginia Commonwealth University (Richmond, VA).  Kevin holds a Pennsylvania Insurance Producer License for Life, Accident and Health and is certified by the Care Innovations Validation Institute on population health management outcome measurement.

Jamie Tedor

Director of Corporate Development; Executive Consultant

Jamie’s strong analytical and strategic planning ability provides clients with understandable and actionable information they need to make best possible decisions about their employee benefits plans.

As Director of Corporate Development, Jamie is responsible for leading the strategic direction of business development and overseeing the Health Care and Benefit Analytics function. With a background in underwriting and health care actuarial services, Jamie has led the development and deployment of AIA/BRG’s portfolio of analytical resources and technical software.  He also functions as an Executive Consultant to assure the continuous achievement of best in class benefit solutions for AIA/BRG employer clients.

Prior to joining AIA/BRG in 2004, Jamie served as a Health Benefit Analyst with Conrad M. Siegel, Inc., Conrad Siegel Actuaries.

Jamie graduated Magna Cum Laude from the John L. Grove College of Business at Shippensburg University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Jamie also has successfully completed the Group Benefit Associate courses of the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist Program, a joint program of the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Jamie holds a Pennsylvania Insurance Producer License for Life, Accident and Health.
