| Dan G. Dorsheimer - Founder, Principal, Senior Consultant
As Principal, Dan is responsible for the strategic direction of AIA Benefits Resource Group. In addition, Dan contributes a wealth of knowledge and expertise as a Senior Consultant on many client projects.
In addition to American Insurance Administrators, Inc. and Benefits Resource Group, Dan has founded several related business entities including Physician Advisory Services, American Insurance Advisors, Global Health Care Services, and AIA Broker Benefit Solutions.
Dan has been in the employee benefits consulting and associated insurance product brokerage business since 1974 and is recognized regionally as an expert on employee benefit issues and, specifically, health benefits.
He participates on several major health insurance plan advisory boards and serves as an advisor to several publications and associations. Dan's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The Ohio State University.

 | Kevin L. Krause - Principal, Chief Operating Officer, Senior Consultant
As Principal and Chief Operating Officer, Kevin is responsible for overall management of AIA Benefits Resource Group. Kevin has been with AIA for over eight years and during this time has been instrumental in developing a unique strategic planning approach to employee benefits consulting and brokerage including sophisticated and proprietary analytical approaches, integrated technology applications, and complementary service packages and products designed to deliver enhanced value to AIA employer clients.
Kevin's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The American University (Washington, DC) and a Master of Health Services Administration from the Medical College of Virginia/Virginia Commonwealth University (Richmond, VA). After receiving his master's degree in 1980, Kevin spent over 15 years in multiple aspects of health care delivery and administration, holding executive level positions in government, publicly held and private health care corporations. Kevin began his health care career as an Assistant Administrator for Quality Assurance at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Washington, DC, a 700-bed teaching hospital. After leaving government service, Kevin entered the private sector holding various executive roles with publicly owned national hospital corporations involved in acute care hospital strategic planning and rehabilitation hospital development. These companies included American Medical International (now Tenet Healthcare) and Continental Medical Systems (now HEALTHSOUTH).
As the need for health care cost control became more pressing, in 1995 Kevin transitioned from health care delivery to the management of health care risk. As a Principal and Executive Vice President of a national managed care company, Kevin became experienced in the management of health care cost, risk and quality by providing consulting and administrative services to health care provider organizations engaged in risk-based managed care contracting. After six years in provider risk contracting, Kevin joined AIA and fully transitioned to representing employer interests in finding creative and sustainable ways of providing affordable health care for their employees.
In summary, Kevin has spent nearly 30 years buildling a broad-based and unique career that blends the knowledge of health care delivery systems with the expertise required for the purchasing, management and financing of high-quality affordable health care services.
