The BRG Team Members

 

 

 

Toby Putt, BRG

Toby Putt, Account Executive, Consultant

Toby is responsible for the overall account management, consulting and ongoing support to many of AIA Benefit Resource Group's clients. With a strong analytical background and expertise in health care benefits, Toby provides many of our large group clients with keen analytical reviews of claims experience, budget cost projections and underwriting development. Toby is also a member of the new business team that helps provide opportunity assessments to prospective clients.


Prior to joining BRG, Toby has served as Benefits Consultant, Hewitt Associates; Senior Underwriter, Keystone Health Plan East & Independence Blue Cross; and Underwriter, Prudential Healthcare.

 

Toby holds a Bachelor of Risk Management and Insurance degree and a Bachelor of Finance degree from Temple University as well as a Master's of Science in Healthcare Administration from St. Joseph's University.

 

Jamie Tedor, BRG

Jamie Tedor, Director of Corporate Development & Sr. Consultant

As Director of Corporate Development & Sr. Consultant, Jamie is responsible for leading the development of AIA’s analytical infrastructure, including day to day operations of the Underwriting and Reporting division.  In continuing to provide benefit solutions across all lines of business within AIA Benefits Resource Group, Jamie’s responsibilities encompass annual benefit and financial evaluation, analysis and negotiation of rate renewals, and ongoing client support.  In addition, he provides analytical and technical support for BRG Special Project Management.  Jamie is also a key member of AIA Benefits Resource Group’s business development team responsible for new client acquisition.

 

He brings with him a sophisticated background in actuarial and employee benefit consulting.  Prior to joining AIA, Jamie served as Health Benefit Analyst with Conrad M. Siegel, Inc., Conrad Siegel Actuaries.

 

Jamie graduated Magna Cum Laude from the John L. Grove College of Business at Shippensburg University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.  He also has successfully completed the Group Benefit Associate courses of the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist Program, a joint program of the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. 

 

Jo Cifarelli, BRG

JoAnn (Jo) Cifarelli, Manager of Select Accounts & Account Executive

Jo is responsible for managing AIA Benefit Resource Group's small business clients. She began her career in the insurance industry in 1994 with Gettysburg Insurance Services, Inc. (GISI) as a supervisor responsible for managing health plan renewal and plan changes for multiple carriers.

 


Prior to joining BRG, Jo was with Highmark Blue Shield where she was a Senior Underwriter in the Dental Division and a Business Analyst in the Provider Data Analysis Unit where she was responsible for credentialing physicians.

 

Jo studied Business Administration at Harrisburg Area Community College and holds a PA Life, Accident and Health license.

 

Tracy Clayton, BRG

Tracy Clayton, Director of Client Services

Tracy is responsible for supervision of the Client Service Managers while working with the AIA Benefits Resource Group Account Executives in providing quality service to clients. She has a strong background and technical expertise in employee benefits program development and management.


Tracy has spent the bulk of her career at Hershey Foods Corporation where she was responsible for employee benefits strategic planning, vendor RFP development and management, open enrollment and employee communications, and regulatory compliance. Most recently, Tracy was a Compensation/Benefits Associate with Penn State Hershey Medical Center. Tracy holds a PA Life, Accident and Health License.

 

Rachelle Maddaloni, BRG

Rachelle Maddaloni, Senior Consultant, Manager, Benefits Technology Solutions

Rachelle is responsible for vendor analysis, implementation, monitoring and support for clients with outsourced benefits administration services. Services include HRIS systems, online enrollment systems, carrier billing, reconciliation processes and systems, and employer-specific employee benefits web sites.

 

Rachelle's career in employee benefits began in 1978. She has served in various capacities including project lead as a group insurance Benefits Administration Analyst with Hershey Foods Corporation. Her background includes cafeteria plan, pension and 401k plan administration, human resources, and process development and integration with PeopleSoft systems.

 

Rachelle is a member of the national Society of Human Resources Professionals, holds a license in Life, Accident and Health insurance and graduated with a Certificate in Business Administration from Elizabethtown College.

 

Cheryl Kemper, BRG

Cheryl Kemper, Manager, Ancillary Benefit Products

Cheryl assists the AIA Benefits Resource Group Account Executives in providing quality service to clients by serving as our primary ancillary consultant. Cheryl's career in benefit consulting and administration began in 1992. She was previously the Benefits Administrator for the PA Association of Plumbing, Heating & Cooling Contractors in Harrisburg.

 

Cheryl is a graduate of Harrisburg Area Community College with an Associate's Degree in Business Administration, a graduate of Computer Learning Network with a certificate in computer programming, and holds a PA Life, Accident and Health license.

 

Angela Stewart, Associate Director, Ancillary Risk Products

As Associate Director, Ancillary Risk Products, Angela is responsible for the direction and management of all sales and business development operations related to Ancillary Risk Products, including market competitiveness, pricing, reporting and client support.

 

Angela brings an extensive background in the insurance and financial services industry to AIA and began her career in various operational roles for The Underwriters' Group and as the Director of Underwriting for Mutual Life Insurance Company of New York. During her tenure with Mass Mutual Life Insurance Company, Angela had strategic and management oversight for the company sponsored General Agency which supported the career field force in providing life, long term care, disability income and annuity products to over 25,000 customers. Following this position, Angela served as the Institutional Trading Manager for the Secondary Markets team of Crump Life Insurance Services.

 

Angela holds an Associate's Degree in Business Administration from Harrisburg Area Community College and her industry designations include Fellow, Life Management Association and Chartered Life Underwriter through the American College. She is a member of the Greater Harrisburg National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, Central Pennsylvania Estate Planning Council and the Baltimore Chapter of the Society of Financial Services Professionals and holds a PA Life and Health License.

 

Renee Ortenzio, BRG

Renee Ortenzio, Senior Client Service Manager

Renee supports the AIA Benefits Resource Group Account Executives in providing quality service to clients. Renee brings a wealth of knowledge from her past positions in the insurance industry. Prior to joining BRG, she held a Human Resource position at Select Medical Corporation and various service positions at Capital Blue Cross including Service Coordinator, Benefits Support Specialist and Customer Service Representative.


Renee is a graduate of Duquesne University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree with Minors in Leadership and Communication, and she also holds a PA Life, Accident and Health license.

 

Fahima George-Harvey

Fahima (Faye) George-Harvey, Employee Communications Manager

Faye supports the AIA Account Executives in providing quality service to AIA clients.  In her role, Faye provides a wide range of employee communication support to clients. Recognizing that the needs of each client is different, Faye works closely with each group to customize a communication strategy to meet the needs of their business.

 

Faye brings a strong background and technical expertise in employee benefits and benefits administration. Most of Faye's career has involved working in health care in employee benefits to develop, implement and coordinate employer benefit plans. Most recently, she was the Benefits Coordinator with Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center where she was responsible for administering the Health and Welfare benefit program. Faye worked closely with Strategic Services to implement and communicate the consumer-driven benefit program that is currently in place at HMC. Faye is a graduate of Penn State University with a degree in Business Administration, and she holds a PA Life, Accident and Health license.

 

Mark Randolph, Client Service Manager

Mark supports the Ancillary Benefit Products & Services division as well as the AIA Account Executives in providing quality service to AIA clients. Mark earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Behavioral Sciences from Penn State University. After working in retail sales management for many years, Mark transitioned to the mortgage industry as a Loan Specialist. Most recently, Mark worked for Paytime Payroll as a Sales Consultant and an Implementation Coordinator. Mark has been actively involved in community networking groups holding a board position and acting as president of PRE of York Networking Group. 

Amber DiRocco

Amber DiRocco, Client Service Manager

Amber supports the Ancillary Benefit Products & Services division as well as the AIA Account Executives in providing quality service to clients. She brings individual health insurance background in the industry as well as Medicare knowledge and client management from previous work experiences. Amber is a graduate of Shippensburg University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications/Journalism, and she holds PA Life, Health & Accident, Series 6, Series 63, and Notary licenses.

 

Jamie Schulze, Client Service Manager

Jamie supports the Account Executives in providing quality service to clients. She brings a very strong human resource background through her previous work experience as a Human Resources Administrator and most recently as a Human Resources Specialist where she provided clients with a variety of human resource services including the coordination, enrollment and administration of various benefit plans including group health insurance, 401(k), disability and worker's compensation.

 

Jamie earned her Associates Degree in Specialized Business-Accounting from York Technical Institute.  She holds a Professional in Human Resources Certification (PHR) and is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management and Human Resource Professionals of Central Pennsylvania. Jamie is also a Pennsylvania Notary Public. 

 

Ashley Hull

Ashley Hull, Consulting Analyst

Ashely assists the Health Care and Benefit Analytics and Ancillary Benefit Products divisions as well as the AIA Account Executives in providing support for the financial analysis and client-specific reports for health and ancillary lines of coverage. Ashley is a recent graduate of the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts in Health and Societies with a concentration in Gender and Health Studies. Ashley also holds a PA Life, Accident and Health license.

 

 

Joel Mankoski

Joel Mankoski, Benefits Analyst

Joel assists the Health Care and Benefit Analytics and Ancillary Benefit Product divisions as well as the AIA Account Executives in providing support for the financial analysis and client-specific reports for health and ancillary lines of coverage. He joins us with over 10 years of experience working at The Standard Insurance Company in various roles, most recently as a Business Systems Analyst. Prior to that, Joel worked as a Participant Service Representative for Federated Investors. Joel holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Administration of Justice from the University of Pittsburgh, and a PA Life, Accident and Health license. Joel is currently on the Board of Directors of The Children's Garden Daycare and Kindergarten and a former member of the United States Army Reserves.

 

Ryan Myslinski, Benefits Analyst

Ryan maintains primary responsibility for the information management functions of Health Care and Benefit Analytics to include accuracy of data, consistency of approach and timeliness of completion for the suite of analytical report development and client presentations.  Ryan is a recent graduate of Shippensburg University where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Finance with a minor in Economics.  Prior to joining AIA, Ryan worked as an Economic Development Analyst for the PA Department of Community and Economic Development.

 

Billy Heird, Benefits Analyst

As a Benefits Analyst, Billy maintains primary responsibility for the information management functions of Health Care and Benefit Analytics to include accuracy of data, consistency of approach and timeliness of completion for the suite of analytical report development and client presentations. Billy is a recent graduate of Longwood University where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Finance. Prior to joining AIA, Billy worked for Advanced Vein and Laser Center where he worked in accounting and insurance verification. 

Deb Meyers, BRG

Deb Meyers, Benefits Administration Coordinator

Deb supports AIA Benefits Resource Group clients with outsourced benefits administration services including online employee communication and enrollment systems and support for the employer-specific employee benefits web portals. She brings Human Resource and benefit knowledge to BRG from her prior work experiences.


Deb is a graduate of Central Pennsylvania College and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. She holds a certificate in Human Resources, is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management, and also holds a PA Life, Accident and Health license.

 

Peggy Schryver, BRG

Peggy Schryver, Client Support Specialist

Peggy supports AIA Management and Account Executives in developing innovative systems designed to provide staff members with an efficient means of completing their daily analysis and proposals for their clients. In addition, she created the databases currently in place to track all quoting and commissions for the company.


Peggy brings a wealth of financial analysis experience from her past positions in the insurance industry. Most recently, she worked in the corporate accounting department at Capital Blue Cross. Prior to Capital, she held a financial analyst position at Continental Medical Systems, Inc. Peggy is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.

 

 

Eve Pressley

Eve Pressley, Human Resources Manager

Eve is responsible for all day-to-day Human Resource and Employee Relations functions and activities and compliance with all Federal and State laws and regulations. She has a strong background in human resources, recruiting, and compliance. Prior to joining BRG, Eve was Employee Relations Manager with Human Element Group, and she previously worked as an HR/Recruitment Specialist and Compliance Coordinator with Select Medical Corporation, On-Site Employee Supervisor with Kelly Services, and as a Medical Claims Adjuster with Nationwide Insurance. Eve is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management and holds a Bachelor of Science in public administration with a minor in ethnic studies from Shippensburg University.

 

Gayle Carver

Gayle Carver, Benefits Data Coordinator

Gayle provides administrative support related to implementation of benefits administration technology. She has a strong administrative background working with clients. Prior to joining AIA, Gayle worked for Sun Motor Cars as a Sales Administrative Assistant and, prior to that, worked as a Senior Clerk for Washington Group International. Gayle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Bloomsburg University, and a PA Life, Accident and Health license.

 

 

Lauren Atticks, Benefits Data Coordinator

Lauren is responsible for providing administrative support related to our agency management system. Lauren went to Indiana University of Pennsylvania and Lock Haven University majoring in Respiratory Therapy with a minor in Education.  She has a strong administrative background in the insurance industry.  Prior to joining AIA, Lauren worked for Emerson, Reid & Co. as a Quote Specialist and, prior to that, worked in Commission Processing for Crump Life Insurance Services.
